Why do you believe they should be nominated?

Every application that is made and meets the criteria will be passed on to our independent judging panel who will draw up a short list and decide on final winners for each awards category. The applications close on Friday 4th September 2026. Finalists will be announced on our social media channels and will receive an email and phone call on Friday 11th September 2026. How does the judging work?

Judges will review all nominations and will develop a final 3 for each category. Herefordshire Means Business members will receive 1 free ticket and non-members will receive a half price ticket to the ceremony (per business if a finalist in more than one category).
Judges will consider each entry submission against the category criteria at their discretion.
Judges decisions are final and binding, and no discussions or correspondence will be allowed relating to any of their choices. Judges will be present at the awards ceremony and will give feedback about their decisions at a later date.
Any entrant who, in the eyes of the Herefordshire Business Awards team perceived to have harassed or bribed any member of the judging panel will be disqualified.
The Herefordshire Business Awards team reserve the right to withdraw an entry from the judging process at any time if the entry is deemed inappropriate for any reason.
If any entrant has knowingly provided false information on their application the Herefordshire Business Awards reserves the right to withdraw any award at any time.
By entering or agreeing to participate in the Herefordshire Business Awards, all entrants agree to the above terms and conditions.
